Guys...I visited a museum in San Antonio Texas at Stinson Field. This place has been open for three years...and I didn't know it.

The Director of the "Texas Air Museum" John D. Tosh...runs that place by himself mostly. He keeps it going..with a couple of volunteers, and some money out of his own pocket. I might tried to help him out when I can.
"Leutnant Rudi Linz" was shot down WkNr. 732183 "blue 4" on 9 February 1945 over Maistadt, Norway and there was alot of damage to the aircraft at the crash site-before they restore it.
"Leutnant Rudi Linz" had 70 victories before he was shot down by a RAF Mustang during "The Black Friday" - "9. February 1945."

Falcon, Thanks for the awesome pics and the information on this flight museum. It would be well worth the three or four hour drive for me to head up from Galveston and take a look at that fine plane. S! CUDAYes you need to come up and check it out. I don't know if you have ever seen one up close and personal. Totally Awesome to look at!!Fw-190 is one of my favorite aircraft...clean looks...and just parked there collecting dusks...looks ready for some combat!! Sents shiver's down my spine....Falcon
