Post by: TX-Cage on August 11, 2002, 11:39:29 am
Howdy skin artists.
I was wondering if anyone knows a site where I may get useful photoshop plug-ins/filters that are helpful or awesome looking for skinning my babies.

S! Cage!I'm not a photoshop expert but I do use it alot when Deck, Rahman and I work on TX skins. What kind of pluggins are you refering to? I have found that in 5.5 I have everthing I've needed so far to make good skins, except for making the color silver which is probably a combination of several filters I think. If you can elaborate a little, perhaps TX can point you in the right direction. If you don't mind, would you please attend the next TX training session? We are discussing whether we are changing from Wednesday to Sunday, so look for the news announcement on the main page in the next few days to see when the session is. If you could attend, I would be most appreciative. TX-Zen"Black 6"TX Squadron COTX-Zen"Black 6"TX Squadron CO

S!  TX-Zen,You are probably right.  Everything I need is probably in there (6.0).  I never actually used it until I got interested in IL2.  I was specifically looking for something for a racing skin that made it look like a marble slab (nearest I can describe it).  I appreciate the all the help you guys give.It would be an honor and a priviledge to attend the next TX training session.  I will keep my eyes peeled on the announcement page, and eagerly look forward to it.Cage

Eye candy is probably one of the best packages. Also get Kazaalite and there are tons of plug ins available to dl.
