I was just seeing if any of the TX were going to the airshow here in Houston this coming weekend? I remember talking a while back with Tornado and him telling me that a few of you where from around here...  For those who dont know about the airshow I believe it's at Ellington field this coming weekend...

 

Point-man, I believe a small TX contingent are planning to attend the Sunday show.Look for a bunch of idiots walking around saying weird things like "shat", "bloot", and "jakus"...  and you will know you have found the right guys.TX-Deck out.

...We need to find out who plans on going...where we are going to meet....what time to meet...and who is going to use the Bay Area Park and Ride. If I remember correctly that is where most of had parked last time. I'll be there Sunday morning (Saturday Night permitting) and plan on parking at the Bay Area Park and Ride and taking the shuttle bus as we did last year. well I couldn't have asked for better weather for todays show...   I should still make it tomorrow but I'm not sure now as my X-wife is giving me hell and my girlfriend is acting like she needs a padded room...  If it keeps up after I see her tonight I will for sure be there tomorrow because I'm going to tell both of them to find a really tall cliff and they can just hold hands as they go over...

I won't be leaving for Clear Lake until sometime after 11AM from Santa Fe. I will have CudaJR and my stepson with me and I have to wait for them to get back from church.Once I get there I'll give Deck a call via cell phone and find Ya'll once I am onsite. Looks like it's going to be a nice day for a walk on the tarmac! Just returned from Wings over Houston and hooked up with TX-Rahman,Deck,Zen,Papa_Zen, and Rahmans' better half.CudaJR is down with the flu so he was not able to attend this time. We could not have asked for better weather...saw some impressive flying and some nice planes. TX-Rahman and Deck took some good pics that I am sure will be culled and the good one posted post haste! I can report that up close the JU-52 looks like it was fabricated with sheet metal..well, down here we call it "barn tin".Saw some P-51's do the fly-by with the F-16 and F-15 that was pretty neat. I cannot tell you how much I have laughed at this one....  (Sorry Zen...)...  The kind of laughing that hurts deep down...
