Title: IL2FB Spanish Website Post by: Monguse on October 17, 2003, 12:10:19 pm While I was perusing hits on google, I found an excellent site. Schlachtgeschwader 1, from Spain, dealing with IL2FB, combat tactics and micellaneous information. Here is the link, http://asakiyumemishi.com/schg1/index.php
It's a great site. For instance, if you fly the 190 http://asakiyumemishi.com/schg1/index.php?m=volando_fw190 is a link for basic tactics . If you read Spanish, there are a couple of tounge and cheek comments about Oleg's unfair programming of Russian aircraft. In the link http://asakiyumemishi.com/schg1/index.php?m=maniobras_relativas , Basic Manuvering, the author says, "loosely translated" : Spanish: "Aquí es cuando uno se cabrea y se acuerda de la madre que parió a Oleg. " English: "At this moment is when you get ticked and remember the mother that bore Oleg" It's a site worth mentioning and if you read Spanish no problem. If anyone needs something translated please let me know. I'll do my best. Just want to let everyone know how pleasant it is flying with all of you. I'm having a blast! So it is the difference between German and Russians airplanes in Il-2 that the only way to be competitive is to be more intelligent. The Russian pilot as a rule only knows to turn like an egg beater and use WEP to reach us. The reason is the russian planes do not lose energy in the maneuvers like the German airplanes. If the Russian airplanes have a nonhistorical advantage, we must assume that we play a Russian game and it forces us to be more of a real pilot. Against the Russian airplanes like La5FN, Yak9K-T-U or Lag of the 43 of Il-2, little we can do more than to maintain a high speed and the very cool head. We have little manoeuvre margin, so better to think well about this than use up our finite energy".S~TX-FlightRisk Black 3
