Title: My model planes..
Post by: TX-Rahman on January 06, 2004, 01:28:00 am
Gents,
Check these out...  I included the 1/48th scale as a reference on size...  The 262 and 109 are 32nd and the P47 is 1/18th....  Also have another 1/18th scale 109 to paint...TX style

With the exception of the smallest one...the others are almost completely assembled/painted etc...  If you're interested in any of these.  You can search on Ebay for "Ultimate Soldier"...it will turn up a bunch of links.  They're pretty inexpensive considering that a 1/48th scale kit that you have to put together and paint and all is around $25.  The 1/18th scales are like $30 at wal-mart, the 1/32ns scales were like $25 each...  Please also note that the landing gear are retractable....removable pilot, opening cockpit, and the 262 has doors to access the guns  Trying to get more for my room... ;)

Regards,
TX-Rahman

I saw the "Ultimate Soldier"... at wal-mart very cool. Did you re-paint this puppy?BTW: I have a boat load of WWI, WW2, Present Day with Verlinden bases and weapons all 1/72 scale stuff I've inherited from friends. They are way to small for my feeble eyes. Want them?If not anyone else?S~TX-MonguseGreen 2

Guse,             Heck yeah....any items will add nicely to the display cabinet!!  Let me know where to send the ca$h to             As for painting the models in the picture...  The smallest plane is a 1/48th that I built and am still in the process of painting.  I am painting it with the standard TX skin...  I have printable waterslide decals that I will use to put my name on the wing and the TX logo etx on the fuselage  The other planes came painted as they are...             The 1/18th scale 109 I have came in a winter camo that I'm not too fond of....so it will most likely get a fresh coat of paint much like the 1/48th with all TX markings etc...  Including a picture of the 109...Regards,TX-Rahman"BLUE 2"

My son loves his Motorworks BF-109 and P-47.Of course he's a plane freak.  Pretty sure I'm gonna have to bust my arse to get him a plane for his 16th instead of a car.TX-Cage  Black 5    ... end ...

WhooooooooooooooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaI was checking those out last week as a matter of fact. Plane that big might just be the coolest thing ever. I could hang it from the ceiling of my pad in the living room, right next to the server rack.People would have no doubt about what my favorite hobby is :)(I'll admit I'd have to ask some of the strippers and hookers to make room, but those are my second hobby)TX-ZenBlack 6
