Title: Team vs TEAM matches at Reds'Box!!
Post by: TX-CUDA on January 19, 2004, 06:30:16 pm
....I was going to crash last night after flying on the OC3 and decided to check out some CoD action on Reds'BOX server and met up with TX-Rex and Kingsnake for a little "stress relief" when I noticed on the text line from the server that Reds Box is trying to set up some Team vs Team matches. I was wondering if any TX members that have CoD might be interested? I will go to the Reds Box websight and check out the forums and see what the setup is and post what I find here later tonight(Monday). I know that in the much anticipated first patch for CoD that the developers are adding the ability for a team to defend territory and some of the CoD Mods that i have seen that are being worked on will also have this incorporated. More on this later, but is anyone else interested in some TX Team action in the future?

Zen took a minute to go over the basic infantry tactics when we played Black Hawk Down Demo. Some of you may recall the 1st place scores we took in a short time once we got our act together. What I see when we play CoD is no use of tactics and actually very little use of comms. It is pretty much an I do my thing you do your thing. Untill recently we rarely played the same servers. Things are changing. If we can get big Z to get the game then we are sure to see our game get better.TX-KingsnakeWhite 1

....good point Kingsnake.I admit a major error on my part by not re-joining comms last night be it either on the COD channel or the main TX channel on comms while I was on the "Box" last night.Let's make it a point to join the CoD channel if you are playing to at least let the other TX members know what server you are on...and with some work we can call targets and cover each others back. Last night there were several times that I could have let Kingsnake know where he needed to watch out for the enemy but I was too engrossed with the maps to leave.....join comms....then try and re-join. I thought about this today and I have to admit this was not the best course of action. With the "KillCam" on the server we were fighting on it would have been ideal to be on comms and let my team members know where I took the shot from and thus eliminate the threat.........Bottom Line is this...If you are playing CoD PLEASE JOIN THE CoD Channel on Comms!! I will even if no one else is there just in case......Vodka, Sterno, and Nitrous Oxide a happy Bomber Pilot make!TX-CUDA on UBITX-CUDA on HyperLobbyTX-CUDA on CoD Multiplayer
