Title: Japanese Naval binoculars Post by: TX-Kingsnake on April 27, 2005, 11:44:08 pm Japanese Naval binoculars
I always seem to find WWII antiques when I visit people. This was a pair of Japanese Naval binoculars from what may have been something similar to a pt boat. The heavy pair of binoculars is about 16”-20” long and has a tripod mount. The inscription is shown in my bad Japanese handwriting. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() TX-Kingsnake Title: Re: Japanese Naval binoculars Post by: TX-Gunslinger on April 28, 2005, 08:37:04 am Awesome, and they are stand mount too..."BIG EYES" (what we call them in the USN).Never seen one of these. The different metals are cool.THanksGunBlack 2 TX Flight Leader"In a match, the pilot who kills only one enemy and lands safely is priceless beyond measure, while the pilot who kills two and dies once is almost worthless, as he has lost a plane, a pilot and forsaken his wingman"
