Title: Nanchang CJ6 MS FlightSim model?
Post by: TX-Rahman on November 14, 2005, 12:12:05 pm
I was just wondering if someone could help me with this.  I'm looking for  a Nanchang CJ6 model to use in MS Flight Sim 2004.  Freeware d/l if possible....

Thanks in advance for any help!

Well, I know of a couple Yak-18T models (the 4 seat variant) but I'd say the best approximation is probably to just get a Yak 52. The main cosmetic difference is the Yak52 has straight wings with no gull bend in them, and a rounded tail instead of the straight tail.Flightsim.com has a few yak 52s and a couple yak18's as well. . . no CJ's though.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Rgr that Eco...  Thanks!   My wife's boss wants to paint his plane and asked if I could come up with some paint schemes for him...it's why I want the model of the plane.  Although...I don't know how hard it is to skin in MS FS2004.  Wish IL2 had this model in there so I would know how to do it already!! Turbo Squid sells the yak 54 for $100. skinnning in max or a 3d program is far better. You would probably just have to modify the paint scheme in photo shop and render it. I think it comes with a paint scheme you can modify. However I don't think this helps because it isn't the right yak.  http://www.turbosquid.com/FullPreview/Index.cfm/ID/263920TX-Kingsnake
