Title: My PC Problems
Post by: TX-Rahman on March 03, 2006, 05:36:34 pm
If you've wondered why I haven't been online all week....  My PC at home has taken a dump.  It randomly reboots itself.  When it comes back up it blames my BFG 6800....saying that it may be a driver issue.  I rolled back drivers and still the same thing happens.  I suspect the power supply is going bad.

I went to Fry's today and bought a new Ultra X2 550 watt power supply and will install it tonight.  I hope that this is the problem.  I can't imagine having to buy another video card....will have to see what length the warranty is on it.  I'm hoping that the power supply will resolve the issues.   If not, it may be time to upgrade the PC...

I'll post an update tonight....wish me luck.

Regards,

The new PS did the trick.  I'll take some pics of the old PC's 20pin mobo connector...  I believe that's what caused it to shut off.  When I post the pics I think you will understand Regards,TX-Rahman"BLACK 4"
