Would love to spend a little time hanging with y'all, but might not be till later in the evening, as we make the runs back and forth to the hospital for the bambino feeds.  Definately up for a little BF2, but not sure if we all will have same version....I have spec forces pak as well as the euro addon that i bought and dl'd...definately worth it too I might add....bigger and better tank battles.Will it be on public comms? (I still don't have info for private tx comms...maybe someone can om me the details?)

...sure wish I could have joined Ya'll for some BF2 play but I had CudaJR over here Friday night and he was not feeling well. I made some two and half inch Rib Eye steaks and he was not in the mood to even eat that after I pulled them off the pit. Zuchinni and some other stuff I make was what he was suited to...at any rate, I think that this week I'll pick up BF2 and perhaps download the add-on so I can join Ya'll in the near future. Are you guys playing the stock out of the box version or are Ya'll playing the add-on version? Lemme know.....BTW, I was looking at some COD2 servers this weekend and came across one called "BALANCE" that was running a version 1.2....which none of us in the real world have. After reading up on it via some COD sites it turns out that it was allegedly a test server that they were running the new "PunkBuster" on...along with two new maps...word has it that we might get the patch on the 10th of this month....but as you fellow IL2 Pilots/crew know we get the patch when it comes out............TX-CudaMinister of Information

Just wanted to say that I had some fun last night with Rahman,Zen, and ScobbaSteve playing the demo version of BF2......even though I didn't have a clue of how to play the thing! With practice it will come around. Look forward to seeing Ya'll on the battlefield in the near future!TX-CudaMinister of Information

I had a great time also, once again TX shows our fine teamwork. We won about 90% of the rounds we played and developed a tactic as USMC to haul arse over to the hotel with 3 guys. On support kit and one AT kit would climb the ladder to the roof and Rah with his special forces det packs would take the flag by the pool while we covered him. He'd then lay out 3 or 4 det packs and we on top of the roof would spot for him if enemy vehicles came in...at the right time a simple press of a button and BOOOOOM, no more enemy vehicle lol. I'd say with 3 or 4 guys controlling the hotel we pretty much owned the MEC, I don't think we ever lost control of it and it allowed the rest of our team to usually take the other control points because the enemy spent so much time trying to get the hotel back. Steve and I were having a blast up in the roof showering MG and AT rockets at everyone and later Cuda came on as a sniper and started picking people off. Great time, I gotta say it was awesome up there along side TX. I doubt that I'll be on tonight, but definately Friday night. Zen

That night was a lot of fun.  I never thought I'd ever really enjoy hanging out all night around a hotel with a bunch of guys before... You're right Zen, we never lost the hotel when we were all hanging out there, despite the fact that my rockets seemed to always fall short when I'd try taking out a tank or something.  I'd try crawling to a better position only to fall off the roof, which I did several times.  Fortunately someone told me how to use the parachute, so I didn't kill myself every time I inadvertantly rolled off the roof!  (I guess though that's why it was suggested that I be support for a change)...
