Hey Ya'll, I just came across this in the Houston Barnacle "Preview" section and thought I would let everyone know about this once in a lifetime opportunity....
"Wings of Freedom" flights will be at Ellington Field Airport March 31-April 03 ofering flights onboard the B-17 Flying Fortress,the B-24 Liberator, and the B-25 . Kinda cosly but for $425 you can fly on either the B-17 or the B-24.The flights on the B-25 are either $400 or $325. if you decide to fly this is a tax deductible donation so you can write it of your next years taxes.
...Reservations are recommended for flights by calling 800-568-8924.
Walkthrough tours of the aircraft are available for a donation of $8 for Adults and $4 for children 12yrs and under.
Hours are: Friday 3-4:30pm
Saturday 9AM-4:30pm
Sunday 9AM-4:30pm
Monday 9AM-1PM
I plan on taking my son Eric(CudaJR) up there this weekend and taking the tours of the aircraft as it might be the first and last time he will have the chance to take a walkthrough of these historic aircraft. Sure wish I could do the flights!

Cool!I wonder if there is a package deal for teh 17 AND the 25?? Another you guys can do is join the CAF and volunteer time working on these aircraft, and get to fly in them when they go to these shows. . .S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO
