Title: ABRIS AMMS in Black Shark Post by: TX-Gunslinger on November 24, 2008, 01:16:34 pm Mastery of the ABRIS - AMMS (Advanced Moving Map System) is I suspect, will be one of the key's to wringing the most effectiveness from a coordinated group of Ka-50's in the future.
![]() I'm extremely impressed with the level of detail simulated in this TACSIT/TAC Data Link - it feels, acts and has fuctionality along the lines of USN NTDS + more modern tactical data links, with associated NAV functionality. Anyway, wanted to start a thread dedicated to the AMMS with pics.. perhaps together we can create a better control scheme and integration of this functionality - SUBMODE = NAV ![]() SUBMODE = ARC ![]() SUBMODE = HSI ![]() SUBMODE = MENU ![]() SUBMODE = MENU/PLAN Route planning (and sharing) ![]() ![]() ![]() S~ Gunny Black 2 TX Flight Leader Title: Re: ABRIS AMMS in Black Shark Post by: GOZR on November 24, 2008, 02:08:13 pm Thanks Gunny .. would be great to print this :)-GOZR
Title: Re: ABRIS AMMS in Black Shark Post by: TX-Kingsnake on November 24, 2008, 04:25:09 pm I might buy a copy of the manual. I'm interested in the data link between wingmen. Maybe Gunny can give a talk on that system.TX-Kingsnake

Most of these things I've posted links to in this forum. The Keycard is a good way to get a lot of info on one sheet of paper, the key commands list is 9 pages long - but essential to print I think.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

I'm only just starting to understand the first thing about the PVI-800 and the nav side of the autopilot.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO
