Title: Turn towards steerpoint by hitting R
Post by: TX-Kingsnake on December 07, 2008, 07:45:55 pm
The PVI-800 has the waypoints with coordinates preprogrammed in the stock missions.  Select the steerpoint using the PVI-800. Trim the aircraft with K,T,H, and optionally B. Engaging R (route mode) will turn towards the steerpoint. As you cross the steerpoint you will automatically turn to the next waypoint and the PVI-800 will automatically update the display with the waypoint number and coordinates. In effect you can go hands off for the flight plan. See manual 6-17 Pre-loaded Route Autopilot Flight

You should be able to do it from a server mission and add the waypoint inside the pit ?-GOZR

Yes you can engage route mode in online missions if there is a flight plan. Yes you can manually input waypoints into the PVI-800 but you will not see the waypoints on the ABRIS.TX-Kingsnake
