I was in a Spad and I had zero. I used lots of profanity, enough to have my spouse inquire.
Neat-o footage but STFU on the roll rate. Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: GOZR on July 10, 2009, 02:41:32 am Almost fun on the server but the coop style have to go .. just got tired ( office getting hot ) .. the server runs smooth @ 3 pilots + Ai's some light hickups but very similar as Il2.
Spad has a terrible sight .. ;) question of habits So how did you get to run a server and play on the same time. ? Edited : Oops i'm stupid .. named the session ADAM and flew normally, I left HISTORIA running for 3 days last time ( Dedicated ) Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: TX-Gunslinger on July 10, 2009, 10:55:34 am That -adam- dude smoked my butt last night.
I flew three sorties against him, and he was in a Fokker- I was in Spad. He's smart enough to extend and fly's the DVIII to the limits - excellent little dives to build speed. Probably the best shot I've seen, too. First time I've had my butt handed to me online. Reminds me that I need to practice more. If you mean running DServer and the GUI version of RoF then you could probably do it if you gave the DServer.exe teh 3rd and 4th core and ran RoF on the first two cores. Don't do that now though because of the login credentials issues. Just host with the GUI version of the game. I had no problems whatsoever (in fact it was the smoothest multiplay game I've *ever* seen) with 5 humans vs 5 AI. Remember that the AI uses the CPU power far more than the human players. Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: TX-Kingsnake on July 11, 2009, 12:42:31 am correction - he had an 88 kill streak. I can not out anything when he is on. He climbs with me in a hammer head - uncanny long range accuracy. The only thing I can try is out diving and thats it. with 88 streak i am impressed.
Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: TX-EcoDragon on July 15, 2009, 05:01:23 pm 88 streak. . .that's impressive in an online dogfight world.
That changed last night though eh? Good flying with you guys, as far as adam, he seems like a level headed chap despite what happened, and continued to be even despite me losing sight of him for a moment him in a cloud and then colliding with him. :( I think we should hold a little AAR like the olden days. . . Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: TX-Gunslinger on July 15, 2009, 05:04:15 pm Well, as I said - he's quite a proficient pilot - particularly considering his skill level this early in the release.
Let's AAR on the TX private side, as you suggested. I'd like to see your AAR first Eco :) S~ Gunny Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: GOZR on July 15, 2009, 06:08:56 pm AAR ... that is a mysterious code name .. is this a special military jargon ? Anti spy secret name?
OMG!!! i have AAR AAR AAR ? AAR ARRRG!! ouch ARgh! arrrr Title: Re: Interesting "Russian Roulette" Challege Post by: TX-Gunslinger on July 15, 2009, 06:28:18 pm Heheheh.......ROTFLMAO (wish I know where to get those cool emoticons like TB has...)
AAR is the most S-E-C-R-E-T weapon in the TX arsenal. YOu must never speak of this again. It's locked away, with "Excaliber", "Ark of the Covenant" and "Texas Whupass with soyPork" in a mason jar.....
