Shows what a "noob" I am.   I had no idea that the wings and spars were constructed of wood.  It does look very much like an WWI aircraft wing.

:) Yes  Gunny you would be surprise to see how many WW2 planes are as well constructed.. The work done on those flying machines is mind blowing ..
