I d/L a track called Mid Ohio from a site where you can watch an ad or pay a premium. I only need 1 file so I watch the ad and it (not the file I D/L)  installes Data Execution Program, over 20 malware and registry changes then there are 90 popup system alerts and among the plethora of computer herpies are SCKW.EXE which makes it so the administrator blocked me from using control alt delete to see the task manager and this bullshit list

The Process is packed and/or encrypted using a software packing process
Modifies Windows Security Policies to restrict/expand User Privileges on the machine  <<FUK YOU I'M THE BOSS!!!!
Adds a Web Site Domain in the Internet Explorer Trusted Zone reducing its security protection
Disables Access to the Task Manager built into Windows <<FUK NOW WHAT
Adds a Registry Key (RUN) to auto start Programs on system start up
Disables the built in Windows File Protection System
Writes to another Process's Virtual Memory (Process Hijacking)
Modifies the Active Desktop Background
This process creates other processes on disk
This Process Deletes Other Processes From Disk
Executes a Process
Copies files
Injects code into other processes
Found on infected systems and resists interrogation by security products
Can communicate with other computer systems using HTTP protocols
SCKW.EXE has been the subject of the following behavior:

Created as a process on disk
Added as a Registry auto start to load Program on Boot up
Executed as a Process
Has code inserted into its Virtual Memory space by other programs
Deleted as a process from disk
Copied to multiple locations on the system
Terminated as a Process

Yes I have an updated virus and internet security suite with a firewall but this attack was at last count 90 different things at one. All that for a free mod of a race track from a common web site for downloading. No Fuking Thanks.

WTF where did you go rFactorcentral..?  no other i hope.

I never ever have to watch anything ever for anything but a commercial under Hulu..

I'm reporting this trouble, but where did you go ?

It was not Rfactor central it was the site hosting the 1.01 version, not the French site but the one with the orange banners and the premium pay option. I have seen this before with sites like that where you watch an ad then it tries to jack you up with a virus and offer to sell you a virus protection software at the same time. Which is bullshit anyway. Not this time. But I don't know I can just tell you what and when it happened. It could have been any number of things unrelated.

Disables Access to the Task Manager built into Windows

Another run of the virus and security suite is not finding the virus in safemode. In normal mode I am locked out of the task manager with a message that says the Administrator has taken away my privleges to use the task manager. Given that I think I will just reformat by installing XP from scratch. Maybe I will spend the rest of the weekend getting what data I can on DVD disks then reformatting on monday. It looks like I am royally screwed. Even though the virus checker stopped some things there was too much to stop at once and somethings got through and judging by the list of things it can do it could get worse later.

That computer was unplugged to prevent further harm to it or others. I am going to just reinstall everything which will take... who knows how long.

Ho man sorry !!! ! That suck !!! I'm fixing a laptop at the moment with the same problem, I will reload all as well, the person went in Porn sites but this is common... alas i wish to be able to send them back their virus into their hosting servers...

Safe mode + network and you should e able to get some stuff if you want to fight the virus... but would be better to reload clean and defrag!!

Dam and now the server is working !!! :( was on the whole time with other guys/

Can you restart a safe point saved before  ?

I ran the virus scanner in safe mode then a system restore. Afterwards I ran another virus check and another trojan was found. Each time I reboot this virus destroys another thing, now the sound card drivers are corrupt. It also made two skype connections in my network which I do not use and it ruined Chrome so bad that it could not be uninstalled nor reinstalled. It jacked my mouse up. I could not use safemode as the administrator to access my user documents. The virus scanner does not detect anything this time but it did enough damage to require an entire reformat. I think this is the worst I've ever been hit.
