Title: All the Fermi goodness....

As soon as these actually start hitting the streets, I may be upgrading.  :P

I really want to see some solid benchmarks in real life games before I plunk down some hard-earned clams for one of these though.

Well here what i'm doing .. getting ready to ride.. my Moto !  Set of good sticky tires, new boots, now rebuilding my rear shock with valve mod, and adjusting tweaking my PCIIIR with a laptop.. a ton of settings to adjust ( timing and fuel )..... Gunny would love that ;) not talking ofcourse of suspension settings.. :) .. Needed to ride safe.

So far, the Fermi thing is exactly as I predicted.  See that chick up there in the photo?  Look at her ass.  That's Fermi.

My advice - buy 5870 or GTX 285.  This board is way overpriced for what it is.  Something had to be released for April - so this is it.

I'd invoke the Ecodragon rule:  if you don't really need a vid card - wait.

Again, and as always - it really depends on what you care about most, software wise.  I can run ROF (really, all I play) - with no terrain shimmering - at very high res with great frame rates.

S~

Same here make sure of the cons and the poor.

To me those cards are not yet worth it.

Flying ROF terrain graphics are not complex enough for me and my cards now.. starting to look like Il2 .. ;)
Flying with Flaming CLiff 2.0 at the moment, when i can..

Well TB first what do you have now and what will be the use for and what Mobo do you have?
And i agree 100 % with what Gunny said
