FSX has only the paved airports, and a spare few airstrips. Looking on Google earth I found some interesting bush airstrips in Baja with cave paintings nearby. When I looked in FSX the airstrip wasn't there. I also took a float plane to Ensenada and back around the Sea of Cortez which is like a tropical aquarium. I wonder what it is like now. I went there in real life about 16 years ago it was like snorkeling in an aquarium. Now I hear its been over fished and well, anyway... Its makes for interesting VFR flying in Baja if your flight plan includes random aircraft systems failures. There is little in the way of emergency services in many remote areas and if there were more bush strips to find it would be neat.
The ATC I've heard in Mexico is all in Spanish but I thought with international travel being what it is that English would be used. |
