I have really only seen 1 active online server and they mention having certain default files....does that mean that the server allows only some mods?. I can't really tell at this point. A while back, he just completely amazed me at his knowledge of all mods FC + FC2 and DCS related. He's actually built some of these... S! From what I could figure out today is that it looks like the use a down loadable tool, ModManxxxx. Current version represented by the xx. I seems to work similarly to JSGME in that you can add and remove mods. Might give it a try this weekend.
So it seems that the servers do allow some mods but some require certain files and directories remain stock. Problem is I don't know which mods will affect those files. And I did find a bunch more servers active today, lots of them in Russian. |
