Title: Some Screenshots unretouched at native resolution from CoD (1920X1200) Post by: TX-Gunslinger on April 10, 2011, 03:13:26 pm Folks, CoD is almost motion picture-like. There are no bad shots :)
Here are some that I thought would give those that have not had a chance to experience CoD, here are the most interesting shots from my /CoD Screenshots directory. They are too large to display - so download them and view at full resolution. I didn't want to reduce these. They are all ingame shots, of which the latest were taken between 35 and 70 fps, after patch update and Keletys mod. Note the view in the direction of the Ju-88's AND then note the late sun in my Spitfire's gunsight - which I've just turned on the Gunsight lamp but have not adjusted yet. One of the most significant changes is the more-natural manner that dots scale to LOD's. Yes thank god there are dots. In many other sims the aircraft just "come on" versus fade from dot. The smoothness of the TrackIR 6-DOF interface, is the best I've ever experienced. This sequence from my favorite Bf-109E3: (https://webspace.utexas.edu/joem/CLIFFS%20OF%20DOVER/CoD%20screenshots/View-level-bank-109-cockpit-v1.jpg) (https://webspace.utexas.edu/joem/CLIFFS%20OF%20DOVER/CoD%20screenshots/View-level-bank-109-cockpit-v2-cons.jpg) (https://webspace.utexas.edu/joem/CLIFFS%20OF%20DOVER/CoD%20screenshots/View-level-bank-109-cockpit-v3-cons.jpg) (https://webspace.utexas.edu/joem/CLIFFS%20OF%20DOVER/CoD%20screenshots/View-level-bank-109-cockpit-v4-cons-zoom.jpg) Hope this was as enjoyable for you to view as for me to make! Awesome Sim this Cliffs of Dover! S!
