Title: It's Kowloon for King
Post by: TX-Kingsnake on January 22, 2012, 03:01:31 am
I bought the MD-11 heavy by PMDG with the cargo variant because that's what happens to fighter pilots when they can't make the cut. It is as intricate as DCS. I thought the heavies in FSX weren't all that good from what I read and an add-on would be better. It is better. The thing is, it confirmed for me what I had thought before and that is, prop aircraft are it for me. Fantastic product but I don't get much from flying on autopilot for very long. Since I got a yoke I wondered if my stick and rudder skills would decay. With automated takeoff to automated landing the flying goes from being in your hands to being all about systems management where you tune in a flight computer. So that is indeed what a modern heavy does.
