Newest Fraps is out:

Geforce owners can now capture DirectX video as fast as OpenGL video!
Recommended settings for Geforce are 640x480x32bit at 25 fps. Fixed a bug in Win9x/ME that was saving twice the number of frames in videos.  This was causing a flickering overlay in the output, and halving the frame rate of the movie.

Clipping has been implemented for applications running in a window with odd dimensions.  This ensures movies and screenshots can be viewed properly in other applications that expect even dimensions.

Those with non Nvidia cards (ATI, Matrox, PowerVR) may get better performance recording video out of Fraps 1.9A.  This version has been archived on the download page.
