Greetings ladies...
Over the last month I have had a chance to piece together a fairly nice 1ghz system for our squad. I recently finished the config of the OS and installed a copy of IL2, and have since passed it onto brother Zen for some fine OC3 hosting.
After a lengthy support session last night, the network is almost ready to roll and we shall expect to have (as far as I can tell) the first non-ubi dedicated dogfight/coop IL2 server out there. Lets hope everything goes smooth, and we shall have a place to call our home!

Much thanks to Deck for putting the box together. I antcipate it being up and running within 48 hours, I have to finish some things for tonights training so today is not looking good for having it online. Once we tackle the last hurdle on the network setup, TX will be able to enjoy a 24/7 server dedicated for Dogfighting and Training, something I think we and the UBI commity sorely need. Rahman has done some serious leg work trying to find out when the console server will be available to the public, unfortunately no ETA has been offically stated or hinted at. For now, our box will probably be the only 24/7 server on the net, it should get pretty popular. When flying on it, remember etiquette and avoid actions that might be taken the wrong way by the community. Cuda has done some stellar PR work for TX...we shouldn't spoil that by poor behavior. Bad news gents...I have a buddy in need of a faster computer for a project he is working on, and will have to reclaim the pc intended for our dedicated server. My apologies, maybe we can get something together at a later date.Red2 out.TX-Deck
