Folks,
           I am very proud to announce that 2 members of our squadron have been nominated for IL2 2002 Community Awards!!  TX-Kingsnake was nominated for "Video creation of the year (from IL-2 footage)" (Which I think he totally deserves!!) and our very own EMU (TX-EcoDragon) was nominated for "Top Online Pilot" of the year!!!! (Again...another nomination that is highly justified!!)

           Good luck to you both gentlemen!  You both represent TX in the best possible light!  Thanks again for being an integral part of TX !

S~ AllWell , a couple things are for sure... KingSnake deserves this , to say the least . I think the movie is simply Outstanding and has an excellent chance of winning for sure. In fact Id be upset if it doesnt win. Im happy to see the people at Ubi have seen it and appreciate it as well.The other thing is that after flying with Eco alot over the past couple months , I wouldve nominated him as our best online pilot as well. Not only does he kick arse while hes in there, but hes extremely helpful to others , and has a great time while doing so.It is awesome to see that the people at Ubi recognize this too.TXRocks !S~ Cya up there,TX-ShadowWhite 3

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!! what a trip!! I know lotsa people really dug King's work on the video, I heard people talking about it on plenty of occasions, and it simply rocked!! But I never would have guessed that all that many people even know who I am. . . but go figure! I for one say there are a few more nominations that should go out, to those who blazed a trail to establish the first dedicated servers in IL-2, to King once again for creating the automated scripts for map rotations, that I have seen popping up here and there now. . . oh. . and lastly. . .for the coolest, and most family like squad I know of. . . TX!!!!!I didnt even know this was going on, or I would have made such nominations as well! Anyway, I am not sure who nominated me but thanks!! (well, maybe,  now I am gonna have people going " I shot that guy down like five time. . he sucks" and I will have to fight to try to uphold the nomination's implications! that I dont suck!!)hehe.. anyway, this was a pleasant suprise to come home to (after a day of hell at school and 45 mins of sleep last night)S! allS! and Congrats king,  while I can't say the same for myself, I  think you are for sure the one who should win in your category!! I just wonder how the judges judge us? I guess they must come here and dl your vid!! (keep it in an obvious place!)   ;-)

;)  Eco...I had to look at the stats and see how many people d/lded the movie.  Since I put it up there and posted info on UBI which is around a week ago I think....  We have had 121 downloads! Congrats again to you Mr. EMUB~TX-Rahman"BLUE 2"
