S~ All,
Just a note to let you all know that TX has a secondary server up and running right now.
My 2 gig machine is hosting right now at Iggy's place. I believe it was named something like "Iggy/TX island furball" for this particular map. This basic naming convention will probably continue. Im going to try to install more memory in it this week. I know some of you dont get very good pings to it , as opposed to people like me who generally get a great ping to it. I have noticed however , that sometimes my ping time may go up from time to tiime , but the connection seems quite stable despite this for me anyway. Try the room , see what you think and post here please. I think he got all the maps from Tornado , so hopefully those will cycle around now and then. I know its not the OC-3 , but its about 3.2 down and up and a home away from home. Seems that for me and many others on the east coast anyway this server seems to do quite well for the most part.
Personally Ive been quite happy with the stability of the connection and look forward to having it there for us as a backup if nothing else , and would like to thank Iggy for being kind enough to let us place a machine there 24/7 bearing our name , or at least sharing the name with us. Keep in mind it is a free service...

Shad, We do appreciate anything anyone does for us....especially free! Hell, the original OC3 was hosted by us....then by a friend who charged us nothing...

Heck, that's a really nice server, I've gone there many times in the last few days. Brings back great memories......Is there any way AI planes could be included??TX-BomblastRed2

Several maps I sent him are already made with the AI in them, if any of the other maps need AI , just ask and ye shall recieve. ;). And as far as thanks are concerned , S~ to Igster and thanks arent enuff , honorary member maybe in order or something. I just wanted to note that I snagged an extra 512mb for the server machine and installed it this evening. The server is back up and has been running well. Now that it seems quite stable, I'll install FB Daemon and begin running map rotations.If anyone has any questions, comments, advice, complaints, free beer, etc., let me know.
