Title: Hwkmn did his first Solo flight today
Post by: TX-EcoDragon on June 17, 2003, 08:45:10 pm
Greetings,

My first "student" flew solo for the first time today, I have wanted to be a mentor with AOPA's Project pilot for a while now, but never found a good candidate, I had a feeling Hwkmn was one of those people who just needed a hand getting in the door, and getting some time in the aircraft to spark his motivation into high gear, which is just what happened. . I went out to the airport today to get some photos, which I will post after I develop them. So far acting as mentor has been great for my flying, I have logged more time this past month than I have in years, and Hwkmn's motivation is a great boost to mine. His love of simming and aerobatics is nice also!

Anyway, just thought I would pass the word along!
