Wow!  Great to see you guys..  Zen!  BrawwwkkkkK!  Cuda, & Rex!  Eco & GOZR, Salute to you all Gents!

I stopped using the fighter pit to sit in over a year ago when I gave the kids my larger room.  Tried to set it up in the little room but it was just too tight with all the music gear I have and all.  I sit at a desk again.  Still use all my flying sticks, yokes, and pedals because of FlightSim/Prepar3d.  Excited to see everyone, can't wait until SOB is released now!

Also...can we adjust codecs anywhere? I'd love to have TS3 setup to use less bandwidth.

I edited the public channel to take about half the bandwidth it was taking.  Let me know if it sounds ok and I can change the entire server.. Smiley

Ok...progress!

Teamspeak server status: The Teamspeak server is back online!

As mentioned above:  The new IP for the TS3 server is: 96.126.121.219.  Please update your bookmarks in TS to reflect the IP change.  All rooms as just as they were on the old server... Smiley

Thanks,

7  Community Chat / General Discussion / TXSquadron.com has moved to a new server on: August 02, 2012, 05:27:50 pm
I spoke with Gunny the other night and let him know that this was happening.  The website was moved to a new server.  I initially had problems being able to log on to the forums but I believe that this has been resolved.  Error in one of the settings.  The old server was Windows and this one is Linux.  Gunny, please let me know if you can log in...

Teamspeak server status:  Currently our TS3 server is offline.  I'm in the process of setting this up on the Linux server and will post here as soon as it's up and running.  I have the configs from my old server so it should look the same once it comes up.

The new IP for the server is: 96.126.121.219.  The port should remain the same.

If you have any questions just post them here!

Yours in flight,
TX-Rahman

I appreciate the heads up Chukar!  Will keep you guys abreast of my progress.

More slots?  I read that using three slots was the way to get the most performance while over clocking.  Still using only three slots, just 4GB per slot instead of 2GB.

On an up note:  Shocked
These arrived today! Wink  They're mounted in the removable trays in the Sniper case now.  Still much work to be done...wiring etc.

Ahhh...ok wow.  I'm pretty sure I read forums with multiple people that had 12GB that clocked up to 4ghz without issues. (I'm hoping I remember correctly at least) 4Ghz is all I'm trying to achieve.

Will know soon enough...the drives just arrived here at my desk!!  Shocked

No nooooo it's gooood no worries if you bought it a year ago Smiley  as you can see and read on my post the i7 920 is a great cpu for COD !!!! for sure no doubt about this..  I'm just worry about this damn Vram COD's eater on 1 GB and lesser Vga cards ( i'm on the same boat now) .. if you are not going with 1920x1200 and more you'll be ok.

I am going with 1920X1200 and my card has 1.25GB of vram.  Dunno if that's bad or not..

On a good note, my SATA III SSD drives are arriving a day early (today!).  Woohoo! Smiley

GOZR:  I bought the mobo and proc a year ago...  I'm certainly not going to dump everything I have now and start over.  Everything I have is everything you say not to get..  Sorry GOZ..  Sad
