Thanks TX for hosting the DEY/LW/TX tournament today in HL.. although I couldn't make it, I am told the TX were intrumental in the success of the tournament, both in the air and by hosting.

The LW that flew in the tourney wanted a special thanks given to TX-Cooper, TX-EcoDragon, TX-Warhawk, TX-Rahman, and TX-Ersk for all of their help.. forgive me if someone was left out.

The LW earn campaign ribbons for their involvement in tourney, matches and or scrimms.. we would like to award the TX Squadron with that same award.. the DEY campaign ribbon  ~SALUTE~  and Thanks!!

First off.. let me express my sadness to see Zen step down as Co. Sir you have led the TX squad with complete dedication and honor. You've made the TX a respected squad and have built an admired name for the TX in the IL2 community.. Zen, I personally thank you for all of your effort, support and friendship in the past... it has been much appreciated

Next.. CONGRATULATIONS are in order for the new TX CO and XO.. Kingsnake, Eco and I go back a long way and I look forward to rekindling the friendships between our squads. The TX are in very capable hands and I SALUTE the new leadership.

The TX are always welcome to join any DF's or Coop's that the LW may be running in UBI and look forward to seeing you in the skies above UBIland, it would allow the new members in both squads the opportunity to get to know each other better.

S~ Zen and TX'ers,I just wanted to let you know I have sent out notice to the LW asking for their input regarding a match with the TX squadron.  I'll let you know soon how they want to proceed.Regarding the vulch issue.. The LW feel much differently about the topic than that other squad did, we respect how others feel and we just deal with it doing our thing and them doing their thing... it's much more relaxing that way, and the fun factor isn't tarnished. I was almost afraid to even mention the topic at all, because I didn't want to bring up the past, forgive me.  I was only calling on recent experiences with a different squad we had been scrimming with.. the issue had come up and the smoke idea was invented to combat the issue. I was only interested with how you felt about that idea. The LW are prepared to work with what ever the 2 squads agree upon.Speaking of the other squad mentioned earlier... I have resigned my membership to them, it was fruitless for me to continue it... my heart is with my flea bitten pack of friends known as the Lone Wolves.. we have fun together, as fun is meant to be had... and stress free I might add.Again, it was great to fly with you and the TX again....  CUDA my brotha.. it was truly awesome to see you again the other night... sneakin' over to bomb my base... what were you thinkin'   LOL~SALUTE~LW_Crewchief"Crew"

S~ To the TX warriors that kept me busy last night in UBI.  It was great to see to see Eco and Zen again  I usually fly much earlier, as half of the squad is in the UK or there abouts.. so that's why we miss seeing each other.

I spoke to Eco briefly about the possibility of having our squads, duke it out in a scrim.  We have been having alot of fun with that lately with some other squads, and we find the scrims provide a much more controlled arena to work on the basics of team play and gunnery.  Our pilots skills range from basic to advanced so we should provide good cannon fodder for ya... hehe.

As far as game settings go.. we like to have the full cockpit disabled (some of us fly with it on or off). Limited ammo, fuel..and overheat on or off. Map icons can be disabled... basically much as the TX server was last night... that was perfect.   We fly for an hour in each session, then screenshot the scores. If time permits we'll go at it for another hour and so on.  We have only one request... we ask that vulching is not permitted on spawning aircraft or aircraft on departure or final for landing... we turn on smoke to indicate we are in this mode.  We figure once your 1-2 km from the base either coming or going, your an open target.  Does this sound fair to you guys??

Anyway.. Idaho, MajorGuns and myself had a blast last night... it was sincerely an honor to see and fly with you guys again ~SALUTE~

Hey... I just wanted to stop in and say thanks to the TX for being such great allies and friends. The racing community at UBI and I thank you in advance for the upcoming dedicated racing server.... man, I can't wait!  And a special THANKS to TX-CUDA for all the hosting he does... someday when I can figure out my router problems... I'll share in the host duties. And thanks ZEN for hosting a RW test session the other night... that is going to make training SOOOO much nicer. See ya'll at UBI.... Take care....
