Hi everyone

This was posted on November 17 2004 at Ubi.com. His computer was not the fastest and with as many aircraft in the air at any one time there will be some shuttering and some lag.  A great movie maybe some of you have already seen it.

My friend Maxwellsmart (alias agent 86) released his latest movie "Purple Heart Alley"

This movie is based from the book "THE MUNSTER RAID- Before and After" from Ian L. Hawkins.

It is a true story about one B-17 Mission on October 10, 1943. Black Sunday. The target is small town name Munster Germany.

On that day they loss their fighter escort (P-47's) to the target due to heavy fog that grounded them, and the Luftwaffe fighters knew this and is waiting for them!! Some great action!!

Maxwellsmart use authentic skins and Noseart on the B-17's. Of all the B-17 skins presented, he made 45 of them with their real id codes and serial numbers and in some cases their actual noseart.

Download Link: http://www.virtualwarcinema.com/Movies/PHAxvid102.avi

You will need the latest Xvid Codec version 1.0.2 needed to watch this movie:

Get the popcorn out and enjoy the movie.

Best Regards

S!  TX Squadron

Guys...I visited a museum in San Antonio Texas at Stinson Field. This place has been open for three years...and I didn't know it.

The Museum web site: http://www.texasairmuseum.org/

The Director of the "Texas Air Museum" John D. Tosh...runs that place by himself mostly. He keeps it going..with a couple of volunteers, and some money out of his own pocket. I might tried to help him out when I can.

"Leutnant Rudi Linz" was shot down WkNr. 732183 "blue 4" on 9 February 1945 over Maistadt, Norway and there was alot of damage to the aircraft at the crash site-before they restore it.

"Leutnant Rudi Linz" had 70 victories before he was shot down by a RAF Mustang during "The Black Friday" - "9. February 1945."

Here is the Link to that battle: http://www.luftwaffe.no/SIG/1945/Forde.html

Here is some photo's:

Unfortunately the Museum personal wouldn't let me sit inside the cockpit

Here is two pictures I could find of "LT. Rudi Linz":

Here is a Toy Model of his aircraft

I hope you enjoy the pictures.  If you visit San Antonio...you need to stop by and see, touch this beautiful very rare Fw-190 A8.

enjoy

Lots of mistakes in the clip.....
Switch "In Flight Messages" OFF so those speedbars and wingman comments wont come to the film.

Sorry it didn't work out for you.....I had the same problems you had.....but thru trial and error...I found the solution to the problem.  When you download the new driver...3.5..you also need to download the 3.5 control panel also.  Funny all of the other games I've have play...never had a problem with those very high res games with this awesome card.  Good LuckSKULLS FalconMichael J. Ati problems with has dissapeard with catalyst 3.5 I had the same problem with my 9700 Pro.  Just download the latest driver .http://mirror.ati.com/support/driver.htmlBack during development of FB, Oleg's crew was coding the new "perfect" settings for NVidia cards. As best we could gather, they did not have any ATI cards in house and did not do any development with them (and there were some problems evident as a result when the game was released.) Back then Oleg said that ATI card support might be improved in a patchOnce I did that the IL-2 FB runs like a champ...zero problemsSKULLS FalconMichael J. Lockhart

La-7Model developed from the La-5FN with improved high altitude performance.La-7RTwo conversions of La-7s with booster rocket in rear fuselage. Experimental only.La-7TKConversion of one La-7 with two TK-3 turbochargers installed to give improved high altitude performance. Experimental only.La-126Experimental version with revised wings and a PVRD-430 auxiliary ramjet engine mounted beneath each wing.As far as I know there was no La-9 in development.
