I saw the Pics of your lovely "Snowball". ALL of my time was messing around in the Navy version with the 220 Lyc and the wooden prop. Sweet old birds they are. Keith took his up to Denton several years ago and I quit flyin so this is about all the fun I have with planes any more. LOL. HELL of a lot cheaper. Sure would like to win a  big a lotto and buy an ONMARK A-26 Conversion and a YAK -3 to kill my self in before I go. ;)NICE forum you fellers have here. I'm VERY impressed by the caliber of the people that post here.Guess you don't get too many whiners in this game. It appears you have to WANT to play this to play it well. I'm sure havin fun with it and I'll be in a server gettin my rear end handed to me on a regular basis before too long I expect. Thanks again for the warm welcome.WillieFiat Lux       Spes mea in Deo est          Ordo ab Chao         Lux a TenebrisVirtus junxit, mors non separabit

THANKS for the invite. I'll do that when I quit makin a fool out of my self with stall/spin scenarios.I agree with you about the intricacies of this game. Been a while since I had real "round motor stick time". This game is good. Right now I'm enjoying messin around with the little I-16. Noisy and old but it brings back memories of my Stearman adventures. As of now I have IL-2. I may pony up for FB in a few weeks but am going to fool around with this one for a while.I'll keep checking in.Sincerely,WillieFiat Lux       Spes mea in Deo est          Ordo ab Chao         Lux a TenebrisVirtus junxit, mors non separabit

I'm an OLD Cowtown hand. New to IL-2. Still struggling with the single player stuff.

Thought I'd say HOWDY boys.
