Edit: It's pretty cinematic. . . a definate theme and story to it, more of the human aspect of conflict

Outrageously beautiful piece of entertainment.   Best and most visually stunning piece of IL2 filmaking yet, soundtrack was superb!Entertainment score = A+Historical Accuracy score = DWinner of the coveted:"Gunslinger Luftwaffe Irritatation Award of the Year"I of course, find extreme historical hipocracy (know the word, just can't spell it and I'm too lazy to look it up)  in the FW-190 driver shooting at the escaping U.S. pilot in a truck, again and again, finally killing him.  When one takes into account that it was standard practice for JG2, JG26, JG77, JG300, JG27 pilots to not pull their chutes until below 1000 feet or so when engaged against U.S. escorts, because of known Chute shooting by USAAF P-47 and P-51 drivers, it's impossible to let this go without comment, somewhere.I love my country, served her all my adult life, but if myth is continually perpetuated, how will we ever improve?  Evil Germans, Evil Luftwaffe (replace Germans and Luftwaffe with whatever nationality suits you at the moment)......"Real history reveals two or more sides to every conflict, not necessarily right or wrong, good nor evil.  The opponent for the day quite often turns out to be someone just like yourself, merely attempting to excel and serve"TX-Gunslinger, Nov, 2004I know, "It's just a game" and "It's just entertainment".Black 2

Also love that the FW pilot was forced to look through a partial reticle...no wonder his aim was off... Look in that link on Ubi for a message by someone named GL2....he ripped the movie apart.I thought the movie was good also...
