I can't make it on Wednesday nights... but I try to always be home for the Monday Night Races http://www.gliderracing.com/pub/.  There's a good group of guys that fly regularly every Monday night.  I know Kingsnake was flying on there for a bit, but don't know what happened to him.  Actually, I was just about to post something to that effect--hoping to rally you guys to fly with me on Monday nights--it sure has been a blast. There's a few of us that get on the English channel of SpeedBattle's Teamspeak during the MNS West races (which is what I fly--2100 CDT)I'm also flying in the Soaring Camp, Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons, when I can make it.  I'm always alone flying Thursday nights, so could use the company!  Even though there's only 6 or so races left, you can still register just to fly... after all, that's all I'm doing... it's not like I have a chance of actually placing anything significant anyway--and it's been a learning experience for sure.  I'd really encourage you guys to register at http://sc.czskcup.info/... it's not like you have an obligation to fly every race--especially at this point.  Sunday afternoons is when I fly on the European server--the only times I've ever flown online where there's consistently 31 other people online with you.  It really is exciting seeing gliders EVERYWHERE... the downside though, is that my pings are horrible, and hence the lag is pretty bad.I wish the OC3 server could host those races.Oh yeah, Marek Svozel (CN: 22) who seems to be the chief coordinator of Soaring Camp 2008 used to fly IL-2 a lot himself.  For some reason he also lists this website in his credits of appreciation with regards to the races.  He also complimented me on our website... for which of course I have nothing to do with...TX-ScubaSteveWhite 4

Thanks for the info Steve. . .I just might join you. I'm going to put up some new tasks tonight on the TX OC-3 Condor server. I just downloaded lots of new scenery last night, and I'll be making some new tasks, including some that are in my local area. . .it's fun to be able to fly in the areas I fly in the real world in Condor. . .I can't complain about flying in the Alps of course, but it's also nice to fly around my area.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Cool...  that will be great Eco.Speaking of flying in your neck of the woods:  the MNS race last week was in the Sierra Nevadas... starting and ending at Mono Lake. One of the regulars on MNS, made the Pacific NW scenery... we've flown on his map a couple times, and he's also sure to point out to everyone on teamspeak where his mom's ranch is--near the base of Mt. Hood... I too enjoy flying in that part of the country--especially since I've driven through there many a time when visiting relatives.TX-ScubaSteveWhite 4
