Hey very cool!!!!!!!!!!!I am getting the track now!! That was great fun!! I like the idea also of formation freestyle!! pretty crazy, but what a rush!!!!!!!I was so bummed to have lost all of that track, I was sorta trying to review our maneuvers, as I am trying to use them to aid in my practice. I want to see some loops, they seemed better, and if the loop power management is better.  thanks so much for your track! I will go watch that now!!S! and thanks,TX-EcoDragon

Tornado, take a look at the track MIX posted, you will see some of what you seek.I went to see the PAV team yesterday, and they had many pilots there. . more than are on their roster, but the lag was too bad, so I decided to leave  hoping that might help. . I am sure it must have been cool with a flight of 7!I met up today with Mix, and a pilot from Israel named FlyMan. I have uploaded the three tracks that I recorded today to our ftp. They are each fairly long, the first one is us following mix through a few of their main body show maneuvers. The second has us doing some of the maneuvers of the solo pilot (mix), and some messing around, the third is more or less experimental and fun stuff, including a nice skywriting of a a big heart! ( oh. . a collision at just under 12 minutes, that didnt result in damage to either flyman or myself, but shook my plane violently)I forgot to turn off Icons when I made the tracks so those will be intact. Here is the link to the track files, place the track files in your "records" folder of the FB main directory. then load up FB and click "Play track" from main menu, and look through the list for MIX ECO and FLYMAN1.ntrk etc, be sure to enable manual view control, keep in mind that using the accelerate time feature may goof the positioning of the aircraft.I had to upload these to our ftp, copy and paste this addy into your web browser, look in the "tracks" folder and you will find them in the aerobatics folder:ftp://209.163.147.121/Tracks/ S!TX-EcoDragon

well, the heart was semi experimental, and there was no good camera angle for them, in the one flown by mix and flyman I do try to get aways off, so you should have a decent view of theirs from my aircraft externally. I think we will do more of these, but over the airbase, where we have some static cameras to better view this. The hard thing about this is pulling with the same force throughout the maneuver, I am not sure how else this could be done but to fly the manevuer with the same person many many times until you fly a mirror imaged turn. I guess if we used the P-47 we could refference the G-force indicator, and have predetermined G loadings at various points of the loop.S!TX-EcoDragon

Today I flew with the PAV, for the first time as a member! I fly aircraft number 2, the right wingman, or "Gregario Destro" as a reserve, if the main #2 isnt able to. It was also my first time flying in a multiple ship formation so close, and my first time flying all the maneuvers. . so all things considered it went pretty well!  It was just great fun for me. . although my wrist is still sore 5 hours later from all the tension and focus!at one point my girlfriend walked in and my concentration shifted. . and I overshot Capo when we were trying to get into the ladder formation, or "bastone" I can see that doing this takes about 99% of my available concentrative effort!!Despite the hour and a half it took me to get the server all set up, it went great once I did. . .and I think we could have plenty more people in the roomI  have the two flights we did recorded in their entirety. . .I uploaded the second one to the ftp, and will post a couple screens here. Play the tracks with manual view control selected, and manual time compression toggled up as well .. we are on the ground for 3 or maybe it was four minutes at the start. . .so fast forward until you hear the engines spool up. There are many fixed cameras, external aircraft views, and the view from my cockpit. Kingsnake was there for the first flight of the day, and he was gonna fly with us. . but vanished. We gotta get more of us together to attendLet me know what ya think!!

A few screeniesReady to roll for my first PAV flight in full form (EcoDragon is trembling with anxiety in his cockpit)Preparing to begin maneuversView of the Apertura from Kingsnake's planeHere I was lining up after landing after the first show, just sorta minding my own business, and then I hear Capo gun his engine, and turn towards kings 262 parked next to us, then I get hit on all sides by crazed Italian 190 pilots!!I guess this was sorta like a group hug! hehehehenow its back to the booksS!TX-EcoDragon
