I was talking on MetroAir's TS server to one of the other pilots last night about charts and all and he was amazed that I was actually "flying by the instruments". I guess a good bit of folks flying in virtual airlines simply use GPS or an aid like FSNavigator. He was definately interested in learning more about reading charts and learning how to fly by the instruments as well.He turned me onto
www.simroutes.com which you can search for the VatSim preferred routes. So....from now on I'll be filing my flight plans with these routes as not to piss off an ATC. (I'm already know I'm a n00b...don't wanna get yelled at for being one.)Thanks for all your help with reading charts/approach plates etc. Eco! Actually knowing this information makes flying easier, and I feel like I know a tiny microscopic something about instrument flying. I would still love to learn more about radials, STARS and more...Regards,TX-Rahman"BLACK 4"
