Modeling Question

Rah, those decals you spoke of in the other post sounded interesting.  I was wondering if you have used them before?  I guess my biggest questions would be if they are thin enough to set down on the smaller scale models and are they free from yellowing.

Chukar,              I haven't used them yet however, I think they are as thin as normal water decals.  It's a sheet that you print the decals on to with an inkjet printer, then spray this clear stuff on to protect the ink.  I think you then waterslide them on.                The only question I had was, How do I print white? lol...  I haven't used them yet but know where they are.  Will pull them out tomorrow and see what they say...  I was going to print the texas logo and the TX lettering and numbering.  Blue 2...my original color/number :)Here's the link to what I have:  http://www.testors.com/catalog_item.asp?itemNbr=2255There is also another company call beldecals: http://www.beldecal.com/inkjet_decals.cfmAnd look on the bel decal page, there are instructions on how to do it.  I'll post more tomorrow once I've looked at the kit I have here... :)Regards,TX-Rahman"BLACK 4"

I followed those links and it sounds like the decals should work fine, very useful.  White would be tricky if you don’t have an ALPS printer. In you don’t have an ALPS which prints white I think you have to use the white paper.  Then leaving the lettering blank and matching everything else to the back ground.  Depending on the project (molted scheme) pretty tricky.
