What a bummer.  Sad

Pepper went to Oshkosh this year and got me one of his books with a presentation inscription to me personally. I've been reading it for the last couple weeks and it's an absolutely incredible read. One of the best memoirs of its type I've ever read. I'm 2/3 of the way through with it and really felt like I was getting to know him so this news is a bit cryptic for me right now. Ironic at the very least.

The Title of the book is: My Logbook: Reminiscences 1938-2006 and highly recommended reading.

Very sad.  I have the autographed book too, courtesy of Paul - which I've always been extremely grateful to have.

At least I can feel partially satisfied in that Mr. Rall was able to live a good long life after he survived WWII.

Yep I had plans for the last three years to get to Oshkosh to meet him.

But the way my jobs, and economy got to me, I missed out.

Oh, well, maybe an after life.
