Well it looks like I have the P4 heatsink ya need too...its a factory intel 4 wire thermal controlled cpu fan.I think it has a copper core too...was wondering what kind of vid card do you already have? I may be upgrading soon i found a great deal on a PCI-Express card for my newest gaming PC.I will email ya about the DDR, I would feel better sending it to ya if i could test the stuff and make sure its kosher. Is a 128Mb ATI 9600XT AIW a decent enough card to play FSX? i am checking my hotmail account after i post this to see if you have sent any more info.Blue4/White7?TX-Razor  over and Out!

Damn and just when my PC starts to take a crap too.....grrrrrr i will do my best to duct tape this crap rig back together and report for duty guys,onboard sound is dying and i stuck a old SB 512 in and now all sound is coming from the bottom of a well it seems..gotta google the info on how to remove all traces of SB drivers and try to reinstall the card hope i can be up before my days off are over..seeyall in the skys soon.Razor over and out

well hells bells fellas i just saw the post and thought i should give you all a heads up on my sitrep.My decade long car restoration is coming to a close very fast here...i hope i have enuff cash to drive my Trans-Am down to see you all and show off my car craftin skillz that i have been neglecting for a lil while now...Im all tagged,inspected and insured so i am ready for that H-town traffic.....AAAAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!! I third that sentiment BK and Zen.....and after hearing my father talk about Korea before he passed away 5 yrs ago...I have the utmost respect and admiration for the Armed Forces of these USA past and present..cause that shat aint eazy not one damn bit...its a hard pill to swallow when you give your life and limb for your country and beliefs....I personally dont have the balls or conviction to do either until im damned well forced to lol S~ and my humble homage to all vets worldwide....Peace and gunoilgrease... over and out TX-Razor

FYI......hate to be a bearer of bad news but every ECS mobo i ever had to deal with had random probs like you describe and only thing that fixed it was a different mobo....in my case an Epox 8RDA+ with nforce2 chipset and AMD XP2100+ ...now my PC screams in comparison to my old ECS K7S5A and 1.2Ghz Duron that i used to have lots of probs with and now my only gripe is i wish i had better vid card to complete the package..any questions about my fixes for ECS page or message me i will be glad to help. Cage as for your issue make sure that the power saving option is NOT checked in the properties of your NIC so that the PC does not shut off power to it when it senses no activity...i have seen this on 98SE ME and 2000/XP...it does exactly what you describe and is quite frustrating..i fixed the same issue on my CS buds timeout issues on his cable connection....hell give it a shot...cant hurt but sure can do a lot of HELP!    What you need Zen if ya dont got it is Detonator Destroyer i found it on google..removes all traces of nvidia drivers and allows the reinstall of clean ones.I also had a similar problem but going to the latest WHQL Detonators seems to have fixed that...just my experience in this same situation...hope it helps.(ex-ATT Tier2 Tech)TX-Razor Blue 4over and out.

I am going thru a similar situation involving Flight controls and after opting for the old standby Sidewinder 3D Pro and  having issues with W98SE not recognizing the stick I finally have it working but with only 4 of 8 buttons and hat positions functioning WTF????So I went shopping and fell in love with the Saitek X45 Digital Joystick Throttle Combo for 79.99 at CompUSA or Fry's..too much for me right now but under the allowance you have established.It has rotary controls for trim,rudder on throttle and too much to list....heck here is a link with a pic http://special.reserve.co.uk/listings/extrainfo.php?co=GG7802 after seeing that setup and going home with new tactical addition of a Game Voice box I was just a bit depressed having to use my 6 year old joystick for tonites scrim just sad Micro$haft cant make their own M$ Hardware work with official M$ Drivers on an Official legal Micro$haft OS!!!
