Looks Good, looks arent everything though.

For those of you who dont know what the game is about, its like BF-2
except with a higher dose of realism, in terms of ballistics armor and helicopters. They try to model everything true to its operational capabilites.
Tanks and AFVs can plow over trees, even crush buildings.
The maps in comparison are more spread out in terms of capture points.

All veichles including aircraft have damage models, hard points and softpoints instead of a healthbar for veichles.

The game engine itself allows destructable buildings on multiple levels and hardpoints.

In comparison to BF-2 the action is probably slower paced, but more immersive.

Crimea, was originally Russian territory signed over to the SSR of Ukraine in the 50's I beleive as a sign of goodwill by Kruschev for the tragedies Stalin did to her people in the 30's and beyond.I think it was Peter the great who conquered this from the Turks way back.My family is from the area aswell. Much of eastern Ukraine is industrial and remains heavily populated by Russians. Infact the Russian federation still operates a huge naval base on Ukrainian soil in Sevastopol I beleive home to the black sea fleet. Those are some nice mig-29's though.

Update:Sorry I havnt been flying around guys, work has me by the balls err I mean the women does. Its kind of a tug o war. Anyways I have been pretty damn busy with stuff. Hopefully Ill find time this week to re-up with you guys and scrub the rust off my flying skills. Oh I hear a patch is not far away, this should be good guys and will hopefully re-engergize us. BTW rahman I subscribed to wwIIonline but I am not an allied player. See ya on the frontlines you frog bastard! Its a fun game im just not into the flying part.(it doesnt touch Il-2) but the tanking and infantry part of the game is what is so immersive. Looking forward to its update aswell.

14  Computer Hardware Forum / The Gear Shop & Marketplace / New Joystick on: March 05, 2005, 02:50:00 pm
Hey guys I got me a new joystick! I wouldent know if it was the best one though I was gonna pick up a saitek but I went with the Logitech wingman forcefeedback. It works great I feel, the only problem is it stops working in the middle of a game, then I cant control my plane. I have to actually restart my computer from then on to get it working again....

Thoughts?

I know, most of you guys are even more busy than me and still find time to fly, Im just trying to prioritize things abit up here. Im sorry again about missing the really important stuff. Just lately things are piling up on me and need to be done. I should be ok to go and fly this week as im getting into a regular schedule.
