....just looked at the forum stats to wee what I have been missing...and it looks like not much. Where has everyone gone in the last few months? I know I have been working seven 12's for the last three months...but is that the case with everyone else??....

Man. . . things are just busy. . . and I expect it to get worse before it gets better.Perhaps we can get together at pre-arranged times. . . that sorta thing might work to get a bunch online at the same time even for those of us swamped with real life.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

...Good to see you guys are still checking in from time to time! I know Eco has been posting some pretty good stuff over the past few months as have others. I finally told the Verizon that I was taking a weekend off...NO QUESTIONS!!....and am looking forward to getting to sleep as long as I need to in a dark room with the air cranked down to 65.(I don't have to pay a light bill here) and just relaxing. I will try to hit the TX-oc3 server some time probably Sunday afternoon or evening. I have to tell Ya'll that I have been there several times and I have had trouble with my joystick after the upgrade to the sim. I re-calibrated it and tried it again but it still seems that it is WAY to sensitive. Those of you that have been flying on a regular basis I have to ask...is there a fix that I might have missed since I haven't been checking the UBI forums for quite a while? ...at any rate, plan on seeing me on the OC3 on and off Sunday. I will make a point of hitting the OC3 Sunday sometime between 8PM and 11PM Central time. ...good to see Ya'll again!RockyTX-CudaMinister of Information

Yes, some still frequent this joint on a routine basis  , we (LW) have made a combined effort to get back to IL2 and did so thru co ops in HL, a sort of resurgence. Either way, most know where to find me , and i can find others, we still meet on sundays and have several (11-13) still on comms and would LOVE to have the company of good ole TX, so hit me up whenevers clever fellas, S~ and always good to see ya Rock, and you others as well  .S~ T  |

We can start picking nights to meet up and fly aswell guys.So if somone picks a date we can have it setup. On the weekends im not very busy much. Sundays seem good.

Hope Rahman made it to Dallas with the severe traffic jams that I am seeing from Houston and all the way north to Dallas. Myself, I am staying here.I volunteered to stay at our switching office in Dickinson as it is built like a fortress and has a second and third floor in case the waters come up as expected.It also has a newly installed 1000kW diesel generator to keep the office up and running so at least I'll have power and a/c unless the water comes up over the thing. I plan on videotaping the action starting Friday afternoon and into the night. I promise I will not be like those idiot news reporters that feel they have to stand out in the 80-90mph winds to let the viewers know that "It's really windy here"! If it gets really bad I have already secured three cans of fluorescent orange marker paint so I can put ..."SEND BBQ!" up on the roof of the building and perhaps some news helicopter will give me some national exposure.I'll check back in from time to time from my computer in the office while the storm is going over and keep Ya'll posted on what is going on.RockyTX-CudaMinister of Information
