So it has been that the people of the world have spent thousands of dollars viewing films, telling fables and singing hymms, in hopes of feeling, even if for only a short while,  that there are individuals who stand for selfless values, who poses great wisdom and power, and who will look out for them and protect them from evil. . . at long last, we no longer need to pretend!
