New to tx squadron forum

Hello my name is Rob Frick, i live in euless tx, Im 20 years old, i have been flying on the computer since as long as i can remeber!
I used to spend most of my time on Flight Simulator, but i heard about IL-2, i have not played FS since...
last WW2 combat game i spent ALOT of time on was "Secret weapons of the luftwaffe" those of you who know(and remeber) that game Know it was one of the greatest WW2 combat sims ever, way ahead of its time..i have been waiting for a game to come along that compared, il-2 does, im hooked, im excited to see such a large community for a flight sim!

well, im looking forward to get toi know some of my fellow tx combat simmers!

Frick,Welcome to our side of "heaven" and to the TX Squadron web site.  You'll find many friendly and helpfull people here, some TX members and some not. We have forums for just about anything. If you need help in settings, system configuration, map making, skinning ... , you can find help here.If you are ever in Hypperlobby, look for us in the TX-OC3 server. Some TX members make skins...some of us make maps to host...and some of us provide other useful information that makes the IL2/FB experience better. thanx for the the welcome! i noticed the "rcforums" i guess alot of us have alot in common! i fly scale rc choppers! a also have a 1/3 scale cub with a saito 4, that im afarid to fly,lol...anyways glad to be here!I have been flying on pc since fs2..that is sad.

Welcome Rob! S~~I would like to fly RC but have too many other hobbies currently.  I did manage to get the software with the usb controller to learn how to fly RC before I actually buy one though!!  One day :)Regards,TX-Rahman"WHITE 6"
