Gentlemen,

As you know I have started a new job...its going great but I have a huge stack of shat to cover and then they throw me to the wolves on Monday...for this reason I do not anticipate being online at all this week. Perhaps Friday if I can get through enough of the stuff to feel comfortable, but I can't say yet.

Also, I plan to do the unthinkable and purchase a license for Windows XP...going the high road after all these years. That means I will probably have to reformat once again and start over, which I plan to do Saturday. Naturally that will take all day if history holds true, so I will be offline during that time. Ahhh but the wonderful feeling of being legit...it reminds me of the heady days of Sputnik and Yuri Gregarin, when the world trembled at the sound of our rockets.

In short, I do apologize for being out for so long...I trust the squad has not fallen apart and we are operating as normal. For the time being Kingsnake will continue to direct the activities of the squad. From what I have heard he has been doing a great job, many thanks to you King.

I'll be looking for you all sometime early next week...no word on whether I will be at training on Sunday either, my beloved returns from NY this weekend and I plan on spending as much time as I can with her.

On the other hand, I also have 5 fingers.

Keep it tight, we have come through alot in the last 2 weeks. On that note I must send you all my sincere appreciation for how you have conducted yourselves in my absence. Its something I am quite proud of.

Salute

Good Deal.  Hope you are adjusting to your new work environment.  Looks like we shall return together.  I too have been away.  Have been really busy with work and having to go in and out of town constantly since you left for NY.  I am pretty beat today, and have a few things to finish up here at the house.  Will try to be on tonight, but might not make it in until tomorrow.S~ all!S~TX-CageBlack 5

Manford, there is a certain amount of comfort knowing you can use Windows Update at will.   I'm constantly reminded of new updates and I can honestly say as a result my system runs smooth as silk, and I never have to worry about patches and fixes.  That alone, in my mind, fully justifies the $200 bones for the OS.Who needs fingers when we have toes?TX-Deck out.
