Gents, I am glad I picked up COD2 and have played it since it came out.BUT, the maps are stale now and I probably won't be playing it until some new maps come out and/or something is done about the aimbots/wallhacks that are so prevelant(sp). having a much better time since I went bnack to United Offensive and checked out some of the quality servers that are out there. Two that really stand out are to be mentioned.

-=DREAD=- 24/7 beachhead server. Nothing but beachhead maps on this one. All are big maps with plenty to keep you busy and it's a well maintained server. Good group of guys there.

-=FEAR=- Server. They have modded this server and run some very nice custon maps. The FEAR mod that they have come up with is one of the better ones that I have run across. One thing I really like is the more realistic sounds to the weps and the "no climb" mg's. The 'nades really pack a punch here as well since they added some hellacious fire effects when they go off.

As I come across more I'll post them here so you that play COD/UO can check them out.

Kingsnake, Herr Rahman and I were on the beach assault maps/server that -=DREAD=- had up tonight. I'll post the I.P.'s for the -=FEAR=- servers here. The COD/US server is 64.182.158.103:28960 with the mod and the good maps. Their COD2 server is 64.182.158.129:28960. The COD/UO server is running great with their mod. The COD2 server is up but they were tweaking the mod for that server last night. Not sure if it is back up with the mod. I think that Herr Rahman and I were just on the -=DREAD-= Beachhead server. I haven't got the I.P jotted down. But I have to tell ya it was pretty intense! Ask Herr Rahman as I wa right there with him and he saw mw get hammered several times!         I NEED TO FIX MY COMMS!!!!!TX-CudaMinister of Information

Cuda, have you run dxdiag and let it do the diagnostics? Have you run the audio wizard in the control panel?? DX Diagnostics:Start>Run>dxdiag (enter)>SoundAudio Wizard:Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio Devices>Voice>Test HardwareS!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Eco, Herr Rahman and I hooked up on XFire and he was able to take control of my box and we got it figured out. I plugged the headset and mike into the front panel Audigy panel and with a little tweaking we were able to get it working. Soon you will hear my slight Texas drawl!   A big thanks goes out to TX-Rahman for this one as I haven't been able to get on comms for longer than I can remember.Next I need to figure out why this joystick isn't responding as it used to. Ever since the latest upgrade to PF is is just sluggish as heck. TX-CudaMinister of Information
