S~ Smokey,Thanks for flying on the OC3, hope you liked the settings. We decided to run some full real for a bit as a change of pace, and are having a blast with it. I can't say at this point if we will stay full real or not, the majority of UBI prefers the superman view and we generally run the server so that people will have a more or less standard place to play. For now though it seems to be quite popular at night, though not so much during the daytime, we'll see how the attendance goes and adjust accordingly. Good work on your website, especially the comments about IL2 gunnery, which is a pet peeve of mine also. There is just no justifying the accuracy of the big gun yak in the game, if it really were so deadly in air to air, all nations would have used very large cannons. The fact that you only see large cannon on close air support or ground attack aircraft is a compelling fact that the designers seem to have overlooked. The rate of fire and the damage model for the Mk108 is another sore point with me, as are the general lack of effectiveness of the 20mm rounds and the completely useless machine guns...wonder what will happen in FB with the P47 and P40 if they don't rework it. Look forward to seeing you out on the server,SaluteTX-Zen"Black 6"TX Squadron CO

S~ Zen,I understand the settings doesn't appeal to most virtual pilots ;)The IL2 gunnery was written by MD_Gasman. We are working on a full IL2 school section in our members only area on how to deal with the full reality.I notice when we play coop, alot of people that join have probs with the settings. Some get real nasty about them too. When I enter a game and don't like the setting I just leave, this is the privelege of the host and don't see the point in complaining. Anyway, most of the time we end up with the more relaxed settings ;)I hope they update the gunnery indeed, it's way better than most other sims but your right, some planes have rediculous firepower. The plane that disturbs me alot is the I16, these puppies have cannons that make the MK108 look like a pellet gun. I'm not that familiar with the historical data of the real thing but I hope they keep it as close to the real thing as possible. Can't wait for FB :)See you guys soon,Smoky
