Here is a skin I made today for the Zero which is based on the Extra 300L that I fly (owned by Wayne Handley). The Zero has very nice low speed aerobatic flight characteristics and can fly a tight show and is comfortable with spin recoveries initiated at only a few hundred meters up, so I figured I needed a skin for it, and that MT Composite prop really makes a difference too! ;-)

I may also do Raven skin for it ( I have an ugly one for the 190 that I havent shown anyone). This skin is not completed yet, I want to make the antenna mast yellow, and figure out how to make the radiator scoop blue. There are some really quirky things about this skin, the radiator slats on the left side are colored by taking a slice out of the right side and inverting and lifting it, and vice versa for the other one. . . I managed to figure that out in only a few hours. ;-)

here is the original

There is an A6M3 stationed at the CAF I used to work with at CMA. . . there is always a chance. That said, other than the novelty, I would have more fun in an Extra! ;-)S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX Squadron XO

He he heClearly you have a strong case but as your personal advisor I would suggest putting Zen's name on the papers and not yours. . . . after all you will have to take it up with Larry Ellison of ORACLE , but ya never know, he might not  have good atttorneys. Then again maybe if you just Put ORACLE on the wings they would like that little bit of free advertising.EDIT on 10-31-2004  to add: Anyone notice that segments don't line up any more on older skins on newer models? I don't really fly the Zero's much so I didn't notice this until recently. I just came back to verify that I did in fact once have this thing all lined up. The section on the wing in the Zero is at teh inboard portion of the aileron where i meets the flaps. This one, when used in 2.04 and now 3.0 has the outer wing panels lifted a few virtual inches. When I made it, I spent a good while getting it all lined up as best as could be done. . . yeah, it was hair-brained back then, and now, it's re-hair-brained. . .frig. They gotta change things around. . . if it aint broke. . . wait. . . it was broke, so. . if it's broke fix what's broke, don't break what aint.:-pS!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX Squadron XO
