To All,

After great gnashing of teeth and finally getting AEP to run, this is what I discovered.

1. DO NOT INSTALL THE GAME RIGHT OFF THE CD!
2. Read the instruction booklet (this is where I failed).

You will notice a small disclamer noting that AEP must be installed over FB 1.0 or 1.21 (that's right gents not 1.22).

Warning: If you install the AEP CD over 1.22,  the AEP setup program will only perform a partial install leaving you with version 1.22 and AEP not working.

If you messed up and installed AEP over 1.22:
1. You will have to uninstall AEP (which will uninstall FB).
2. Don't worry
3. Install FB 1.0 from the CD (test it),  then install FB AEP.
4. Rebind your control keys.

Enjoy,

S~

I installed AEP right over the 1.22,I had to use the setup icon on the CD but it went in just fine. I've been playing online for a few days now and have had no troubles what so ever.Huh?TX-BomblastRed3

Likewise, cd in drive, menu came up, hit install, flew online, all planes appear accounted for etc etc. It might be a system thing.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX Squadron XO

......Thanks Monguse for the heads up. Looks like some interesting A/C that are flyable this version. If I am not in a bomber I sure want to try out the P-38.....then the B-25 AI if it is loaded up with the "nose guns from hell" that I see on the History channel and Discovery Wings. I'll probably pick up the upgrade Saturday and learn the planes over the weekend.....get some jacklegs over here to do the broadband since Time Warner and I are in a feud....and hopefully get back to flying with you guys as soon as possible.Like i said in another post...This is pretty bogus as this is the longest time I have been offline from flying since I joined TX many moons ago............gonna fix it...TX-Cuda...one Shot...One KILL!
