Work in Progress - will probably be finished in about a week.

Edit by Rah:  Removed the pics because of their size...was hosing the main page.  Resize and re-add.

Awesome, and I'm lucky to have an early copy! How can that not be everyone's favorite B-24 skin? The B-24 has to go down as the homeliest of all American Bombers during WWII.  Maybe it was the paint jobs. For those that don't know the history of the A/C, it was a Pacific B-24 which was involved in what may be the single greatest "VULCH" by an individual A/C ever. There are many German Experten who did'nt kill as many enemy A/C during their entire career as this plane did on ONE mission...if memory serves me right.....If not then perhaps someone will correct me...Horrido Guse!  Another great skinBlack 2

Looking good!  The red/white stripping on the inside of the rudder isn't on the current aircraft if memory serves (with presumably accurate paint), however I have seen plenty of recreations and paintins that had it inside too. Hmm. The panel lines are far darker in those screenies than they probably need to be, but that looks like it is pretty much a replica of the original as far as I can tell. Of course the way the skins are set up you often don't get the luxury of having 4 sides to a 4 sided surface and have to suffer through mirror images of surfaces (ick) so that might be the best deciding factor on that issue. What are you gonna do with the left side? The text mural as on the current one or bare? And I have to agree Gunslinger. . . B-24 is about as ugly as they get without going across the pond. (PZL Wilga is pretty darn ugly)S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO

Thanks all, ...The red/white stripping on the inside of the rudder isn't on the current aircraft.... probably right I'll have to check my docs againThe panel lines are far darker Yup, I wanted to see if they lined up also wanted to check the default darkness. Note that the default void rivets and panel lines are darker where the antiglare should be (have to fix the void lines). BTW I still need to do the OD antiglare. What are you gonna do with the left side? The left side was left empty no muralI'll re-post when I'm finished.S~TX-MonguseWhite 1War Room General

Oh, I just meant that the current one has a mural tribute on the left. . . of course it's not historical for the war time variant, but it might be kinda nice as an optional layer with the same intent. Here are some pics.iies.www.ecn.purdue.edu/IIES/PLAIC/380/NEWS/News15/Dragon.htmlIt used to be tough to get text and fine details to show up well, but with 1024 skins it's no problem.  On my Brietling 190 skin even the teeny tiny details resolve on higher in game quality settings. Oh and by the way, screenies should be as close to xxx*480 or smaller as can be. The main page gets goofed when they are wider than that. Rah will probably resize them.S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX-Squadron XO
