My Apologies for my tardiness, just put in the new mother board chip set !!! Soyo Dragon platnium kt333 2 gig . Anyways, on a more srious note.

Tonites training is oriented towards the 2 man manuvers , such as the average closeure, rope a dope, concentric circles, clear six. These 4 in particular. about 20 minutes of dedicated time to each specific manuver will be the course of action for the evening. Kingsnake and Zen as well as others will help with the familiarazation of the said manuver.

1.Sign on to Gv at the appropriate time , preferably 20:30 and get your channels set and make radio checks.
2.Log into UBI and locate the squad members and join the training room and make a text acknoledgement to your arrival.
3.Join the said training mission and follow the orders given , follow out the training to the best of your ability, and above all, have fun.

Like i said this isnt a jacket and tie even but post as to you situation for this evening give a heads up and well make this a productive evening as was last weekend, and BTW fyi , i think OkieCop and GunNRun will be joining us on GV tonite, so like i said be TX and have fun. Thanks for your patience and good luck and godspeed.

Genltlemen:Average Closure is now callsign Alpha Charlie.Rope a Dope: Romeo DeltaClear 6: remains Clear 6Concentric (counter rotating) Circles: Charlie CharlieStay tuned for a text rehash of these manuevers and please be ready to practice them tonight. Concept for training is that all pilots will go Blue and remain grounded. 2 or 3 Demonstrators will be selected to execute each manuever while remaining TX observes externally.TX will be split into 2 man and 3 man sections as appropriate to practice each move. Repost of training SOP:1: Check our site the day before training to see what coordinating instructions are in effect for that session. 2: The night of training, log into GV using the standard PW. Check PM here on the site or the UBI page message to see if the PW has been modified for guests to be able to train with us. 3: At 21:00 hours we will meet in a Dogfight session called TX-Training. For the first 15 minutes we will discuss in text chat the objective for that evenings session. 4: The mission will be launched and we will conduct training. 5: After an hour to 2 hours depending on quality of training, the TX-Training session will be shutdown and a new session created called TX-AAR (After Action Review). Log into the AAR session and we will sumarize the training with text chat. It is very important that we go to the AAR and share our thoughts on training. This gives us a little more room to air our thoughts, tell war stories about that night, help identify what did and did not go right and refine our plan for the next training session. Coordination:During training, all pilots will start on the ground in external view mode. All pilots will stay off GV unless directed otherwise and will also keep the text chat in game clear until instructions have been given. During the training, the instructor for that night may request that the GV and Text channels be clear so that he can give additional instruction uninterrupted. Please remember courtesy and clear the channel when directed. TX-ZenBlack 6TX Squadron CO

I will be there gents. . . Maybe two volunteers from tonight could do this with Raptor at a time when he is available?? If I knew his schedule I would offer. Post it raptor and we will work it out. We would all benefit by having a more cohesive game plan when we are in a wingman situation. IL-2 is one of the first sims I have flown that rewards real world tactics, and real world aerodynamic principles. Lets exploit these things. I think there a couple maneuvers that we should practice (by doing over and over), that may seem overely rudimentary to many, if not all of you, like slow flight maneuvering and climbing, flap usage, stall/spin avoidance and recovery, as well as patience and calculation in our entry into the fight. . . which is critical for all those who seek to learn to be Boom and zoomers.  For those of us who have had a bandit on our 6 we couldn't shake, these maneuvers are the things that will often save us. . .why? because if you can convert more of your kinetic energy to potential energy than the guy on your 6, he wont be on your 6 anymore.  .  . he will be in front of your gunsJust my .02 S!
