BK Status Update

Just wanted to fill everyone in on where I am at.

1. Using Dial-up till 5/21 between 10AM and Noon. Reinstalling cable. You REALLY don't know how much better sucky cable speeds are until you use dial-up. 5 to 7 mins a page to load is for the birds.

2. While waiting for cable I updated my rig again. Seems that even on disability I had to file Income Tax for my 401K earnings and when I filed I got back $2713 for Fed and $1209 for state. Which in itself is totally crazy because I only had to pay taxes on my 401K earnings which were like 93 bucks..but when I filled everything out I got back WAY mopre than I paid in. Not going to argue with the US government. My Momma didn't raise no fool.

And Eco jinxed me. My CH pro peddles crapped out too. The left rudder peddle always had a problem with sticking but now no matter what I do it's always full left rudder. I bought mine from some guy I ran into in Frys over a year ago so warranty is out of the question. Checked Frys again tonight when I got the Raptors and saw they were $129. Don't want another set again THAT bad..That guy I ran into at Frys and sold me his did for $60.

And on a final not I posted congrats for King and Echo..but only can find the post for King..I knew it was taking an ungodly amount of time to post after I clicked on post message and I may have left the site before it took..so I'll say congrats to Eco here again also !!!

So that's the Readers Digest condensed version of what's going on..I'll see whoever I can on Wed when I sign on with cable again.

i decided something about the ch pedals. . . .they are made with cheap parts. . . .take them apart and fix em. . .the only pain is keeping all the fragile wires from breaking while you work, and lining it all back up  to put it back together. . but its well worth it to just fix 'em. Man. .. I wish I had that crappy ti4600!! lolol. . . thats a smokin machine. . . you might actually be able to run the Perfect settings on it!! Im making due with med-low. :-( But ill stop feeling sorry for myself now. . .at least I gots my rudder pedals fixed!It is liberating to say bah humbug to the CH warranty and just dive in!and thanks for the update!S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX Squadron XO

Two things...First, Eco..do you have by any chance a parts description or parts layout for the CH Pro Peddles ? When I bought mine from that guy all I got was the Hardware and a disk and there ain't jack on the disk. No manual, no nothin'.And if you do.. do you have a way to scan and post so I can copy ? Appreciate it if you do. You ain't kiddin about those wires being flimsy..What are they 26 guage? Christ, they are thin!Second, Less than 24 hours from now..CABLE AGAIN !!!~S~BK

And hes back in black!!!!!!!!!!!! what fun!!! I havent flown with a Full black section on the pubs In a ayear I dont think. . .lets change that soon guys!!!About the CH pedals. . I bought mine new in box. . and they also didnt come with anything but a disk. . .I guess your supposed to use whats on the site. . which if you have looked around at it you will see its pointless. I think a better bet is to look for CH products forums. .. and ask them. When I took mine apart the last time I was surprised at hom much junk made its way into them. . . that might be your problem. . or maybe that little tab is dissconnected or broken .. either way I think they can rebuilt better than new, and from what I have heard, new pots are pretty darn cheap.
