RC_01.zip....Don't Use

..I was able to get RC_01.zip off a server BUT...after reading several posts about what it fixes and messes up for the beta I think that I am going to wait until Monday when perhaps Oleg and crew will get  the infamous RC_02 file up...(if there even is such an animal). Not taking a chance on losing my "level auto pilot" as several say that it is disabled with the _01 patch for beta....

I will tell you Cuda that what you are saying is the thing to do. i have scrapped my plans over it. Those guys are applying both the RC01 beta and the DLLs out of 1.2 Beta .....not the same.... avoid.........S~TX-FlightRisk Black 3

Well.....I've D/L the supposed Beta patch from two different sites and all I get are sound files (Wave) , no Plane files only BMB's and the rest is Wave files. Maybe I'm doing something wrong? After I extract it into my FB folder all I see is a folder that is named 1.2 beta, that's all .When I start the game it's still at 1.11... I know how to extract a file, maybe I not holding my leg and biting my tongue in the right way. Could just be operater error, Computers are still a mystery to me. So, until I get this straightened out i'm stuck at 1.11 You'll see me at Ubi in the regular servers for now. I'm so frustrated I could just SCREAM.TX-BomblastRed2

1) create temp folders on your desktop for your records folder contents, the skins net cache, and the missions net cache and move screenies out too (or delete the cache stuff).2) Copy the full 1.11 FB folder contents and create a new folder named 1.2 beta and paste the contents of the original FB into that. Make sure that the new folders name is exactly as it appears on the file you will extract, otherwise it wont overwrite the files, it will just extract into it. Then extract the contents of the zip into the main ubisoft games folder.Before using the UBI lobby load the 1.2 beta by clicking on its exe, then quit out and use UBI as normal. You May need to type in teh new game path in teh lobby general settings (button at top right of ubi lobby window)S!TX-EcoDragonBlack 1TX Squadron XO
